BMW exposes their GINA

That’s right, GINA which is an acronym for “Geometry and Functions in Adaptations.” That basically means the BMW designers were allowed to throw out the rule book, think out side the box and create a vehicle that will inspire designers and engineers. One of most noticeable differences is the outer skin of the car. It’s actually made out of a textile fabric that’s pulled around a body frame made out of metal and carbon fiber wires. The internal skeleton of the car is powered by electro-hydraulics which actually changes the shape of the vehicle. Everything from the headlights to the interior gauges to the scissor style doors all can be hidden and reshaped when needed. This car is a great piece of work. Now only if they can make one with Croc-Skin 3M reflective leather, patent trim and clear tires. I kid! I kid! More pics after the jump.

More China Pics

HKG

Hey folks. I’m including more pics from our trip. I’ve thrown together a bunch of images from Hong Kong, Mainland China and a couple from Taipei. Neil and I had a blast just like the last time. Instead of heading out to the “Motherland” aka Philly aka Philippines we decided to hang out in Hong Kong for a few days. Hong Kong steez is like no other, I actually miss the place. I just wish I was able to take my camera with me when Neil and I went exploring the city. We definitely have to go back and stay a bit longer. Anyways, I won’t make this long, after the jump you’ll find more pics. Enjoy!
