…At least for Mark that is. Last week we visited his parents to see how his mom was doing after her procedure. Thankfully they’re both doing fine and in great spirits. Thanks again for your hospitality.While there we met up with Ric at Canter’s. Ric is a reoccurring character on our blog. He’s been instrumental in helping us get things started down south. Needless to say, he was kind enough to take time from his busy schedule to bring us around the various shops.
I think I’d go broke if I lived in L.A. They had a lot of cool shops to check out while there. In particular, I enjoyed the Crooks & Castles shop. Besides the marble clad interior, the sales person was very personable. Good customer service is refreshing in a world where the customer is no longer right.
We had a great time talking to the folks over at Scifen. They’ve got a great line with a conscience message behind them. It reminds me of when I used to drive down to L.A. to look for the freshest gear. Looks like I’ll have to come back more often.
