Concept Vehicle: Electric Exoskeleton Motorcycle

I don’t know if you can call this a motorcycle. Really, this thing looks like something out of an anime or a Sci-Fi flick. But dang, it’s so bad ass!

Created by college junior Jake Loniak this dude has a bright future in the automotive field, or in weapons design.

First in line to live my Robotech/Macross dreams!

FREESTYLE SESSIONS 11 THIS WEEKEND

Before this “ABDC” hype and all those dancing movies MTV and Disney seems to shell out every few months, Hip Hop dance and Bboying thrived at the jams. From garages, rec rooms, community centers, house parties, and events like Freestyle Sessions, this is where TRUE Hip Hop Culture lives!

Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad America’s Best Dance Crew was created, even if it was just to bring my boys the Jabbawockeez into their rightful fame. But that’s done. How do I feel about this second season?

Straight garbage.

I can’t stand the shows politics.

Oh well.

If you are around this weekend in L.A. hit up this event. This is where the raw and real is!

THIS FILM IS SOOOOOOOO BAD ASS!

Just check the trailer here.

Asian cinema ALWAYS rules.

I think I’m in love. Again.

Sometimes you just gotta let the animal out!

Direct Note Access!

Celemony shows off Direct Note Access. OK. This is some insane bugged out alien technology, coz this seems impossible. Below is a description of what it does.

“Direct Note Access is a technology that makes the impossible possible: for the first time in audio recording history you can identify and edit individual notes within polyphonic audio material. The unique access that Melodyne affords to pitch, timing, note lengths and other parameters of melodic notes will now also be afforded to individual notes within chords.”

Read more about it and watch the demo. INSANE!!

This mixtape is pure FIYAH! People will be hearing about Izza Kizza soon enough if they haven’t already. Signed to Timbaland’s Mosley label he’s a shoe in for greatness. His swagger is fresh and his flow is nice. And when you got Nick Catchdubs, Missy Elliot, Timbo, Trackademicks, and other notables in the mix it’s a done deal man. I also heard from my dude Phil Chang (Slick Corea) Izza is working with clothing label Rocksmith on some ish.

The mix is FREE, so don’t trip about coppin’ it. If you like the dude support him when his proper releases come out. With the likes of Wale, Kid Cudi, and Izza leading the new school of mixtape artists turned sign artists, Hip Hop is looking good again.

The Hundreds 5th Year Anniversary

In the world of “streetwear” there are only a handful of brands I actually like. And believe you me, there are tons of crap out there to fill every Savers from here to Hawaii all marked at $1.99 (50% off if it’s a blue tag!).

The Hundreds continue to be a staple in this new, but thriving industry. Five years, two stores, legions of fans, and several Atom bomb tattoos later they are still rocking it with no end in sight. Looks like they’re holding a pop-up store and art gallery for the month of August commemorating their accomplishments. Check it out if your in town.
